Lynchburg Police Charge Man With Embezzlement

Lynchburg, VA - Lynchburg police say a man faces embezzlement charges after police say he stole property and sold it online.

Richard Flynn faces five counts of embezzlement.

Lynchburg police say between 2011 and 2013, Flynn would take property and sell it in online auctions and police estimate the value of it all at around $5,000.

The owner of Riverside Runners, Jeff Fedorko, confirmed with ABC 13 News that Flynn was employed there until June 2013.  Fedorko also said the stolen property in question came from Riverside Runners.

Fedorko had no other comment at this time.

He's set to appear in court on August 4th.
