Suspected Thieves Nab Over $80,000 in Heavy Equipment in Danville

 Danville, VA - The Danville Police Department is investigating a theft of over $80,000 in heavy equipment.

Early on Monday morning, a tractor trailer was used to steal three pieces of heavy equipment from two Danville businesses.  Two were stolen from Collie Equipment on Industrial Avenue.  A third piece of equipment was stolen from Riverside Equipment Rentals in Westover Drive.

The stolen pieces of equipment are described as:
1)    Kubota tractor (Model L4701HST) with front end loader (Model LA765) - $32,756
2)    Kubota tractor (Model L3901HST) - $22,449
3)    2004 Hitachi excavator (Model Zaxis 35 U) - $25,000
