CHICAGO, July 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Last month, Built In Chicago announced the 2014 winners of the Moxie Awards, naming the best of Chicago's digital companies at an award ceremony of 850 attendees. Sixteen companies were honored for their innovation, mentorship, and cultivation of the Chicago tech community. Honorees were celebrated by Built In Chicago's founder, Matt Moog, and CEO, Maria Katris, as well as Mayor Rahm Emanuel, who remarked on the immense success he has witnessed in Chicago tech over the last three years. Among the 2014 winners was Rise Interactive for Digital Agency of the Year, coming off of its win in the same category last year.

The Moxie Awards celebrates organizations that produce outstanding work while giving back to the Chicago tech community. The awards drew in over 360,000 votes, which accounted for half of the selection process, while the other half was determined by an elite panel of judges. The panel consisted of nine leaders from the community who evaluated companies on their growth, innovation, and ability to promote entrepreneurship and technology in Chicago.
Since its last Moxie win, Rise has continued to grow and reach new milestones. Earlier this year, the company surpassed the 100 employee mark and expanded its offices, a testament to the explosive growth of the agency. Morris attributes the continued success of Rise to maintaining a razor-sharp focus on client performance, reinvesting profits back into the business, and making innovation a key principle.
