Archery a Staple in Subway Commonwealth Games

Posted:
Salem - Archery has been a staple in the Subway Commonwealth Games since they began 25 years ago.  This year's competition was again held at Salem's Green Hill Park.

More than 40 men and women came out to compete, from as far away as the Virgin Islands.

Included in this year's pool, as he has every year since the games began, was C.D. Miller.  He's seen a lot of change in the Games over the years, change he said has been for the good.

C.D. Miller said  "Archery hasn't changed much but I see some of the other venues maybe have changed a little.  They've grown.  We've grown real well in archery this year.  We have over 40 participants which is up 10-15 people.  So that's been great."
