Thirteen-year-old Nina Todd wrote and published "A Kids Guide To Getting Accepted Into Magnet Middle Schools," and its accompanying workbook earlier this year.

Germantown, MD (PRWEB) August 19, 2014

Inspired by her own challenges, young author Nina Todd wrote and published her first book this year, a study guide for kids taking magnet program entrance tests. "There was nothing like this when I was taking my test," Todd says. "So, I did my best to write the perfect blueprint to help other kids."

Her book, "A Kids Guide To Getting Accepted Into Magnet Middle Schools" was released in early June and its accompanying workbook, in early July. They can be purchased exclusively on Amazon.com for $9.99 each. Find the book here and the accompanying workbook here.

This book differs from other book and other programs in that the thirteen-year-old author speaks directly from her experiences in successfully dealing with this challenge. She explains in detail how to approach the Raven's Progressive Matrices, reading comprehension, mathematics and essay sections. The book includes sample essays, sample reading comprehension questions and sample Raven's Progressive Matrices problems. The accompanying workbook features hundreds of vocabulary words, a reading list, many essay prompts, math problems and more.

"I just wanted to write something that would help kids like me. Many other studying options are cost prohibitive for most families. My books are cheap and will provide more insight than other options. I wrote this book to help kids who want to succeed but don't have the means," said Todd.

Her next book, "A Kids Guide To Getting Accepted Into Magnet High Schools" is due in 2015.
