Teen Seriously Injured in Fiery Roanoke County Car Crash

Roanoke Co., VA- Roanoke County Police say a teen is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after a fiery car accident Saturday.

Police say a juvenile driver, whose name has not been released, was traveling west in the 6800 block of Bradshaw Road around 6 p.m. Police say the driver ran off the road and hit a tree and an electric fence. We're told the car then caught fire. The driver was taken out of the car by Roanoke County Fire and Rescue personnel.

The driver was airlifted to Roanoke Memorial Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police do not know if the driver was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
