Lynchburg, VA - Billionaire Donald Trump is coming to Liberty University next month.

LU Chancellor Jerry Falwell Jr. made the announcement at Wednesday's convocation. The announcement got a big round of applause from students.

Trump is scheduled to speak to students during convocation September 24. LU hosts convocation three times a week for students, and the public is allowed to attend.

I am excited. I'm looking forward to what he has say and teach us. I'm going to try to go in with an open mind, and hear what he has to say," said Mary Kendall, a first-year student.

"I think it's cool. I think it's very awesome that some people can say that Liberty is not too big, but to have big come down here I think is really awesome," said Benton Ebans, a first-year student.

Chancellor Falwell says Actor Kirk Cameron and Ben Stein will also speak at convocation this fall.
